Biennale sculpture

Outside the Museum of Contemporary Art is this unusual sculpture, for the life of me I can't find any information about the artist but it is quite dynamic, what do you think?

  1. Peter, it's actually part of the Biennale. It's a bit confusing this year because Vivid was running in the middle of the Biennale, so you can't be sure which artwork/event belongs with which festival. This work is called 'Neutron' by Roxy Paine. You might find some info on the '17th Biennale of Sydney' site.

  2. I like it. I was going to suggest the Biennale as well. Something else I've completely missed this time round.

  3. I think it looks like a tree with the wrong end in the ground.

  4. It's strange, but I like it. It reminds me of tree branches, roots and brain synapses.
