The Arlington

This amusement hall is no longer in use but is a reminder of days by the seaside when the tram rode down the middle of this street to Narrabeen.

  1. What do they use it for nowadays? Have a look to see if any of the little hooks are still in the building for holding up the electrical cables for the trams. I found another hook in a rock wall on the way down to the Taronga ferry yesterday. Only one, all on its lonesome. Shall work up a story about it for later this coming week.

  2. Great idea, I forgot about those tram marks. Th ebuilding is multiuse- a pub, the RSL and a Chinese restaurant.

  3. What a pity it's not in use for what it was intended - they are starting to put some trams back into Adelaide!
