Rainy Sydney

Melbourne Cup in Sydney 2013


Today at 3pm the nation stops to watch a horse race. The Melbourne Cup. First run in 1861 it is now run on the first Tuesday in November. Here in Martin Place crowds are trying to place a bet. For the record it was won by Fiorente - trained by famous Sydneysider Gai Waterhouse.
